Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of LuminaX, an Adobe InDesign utility developed to preserve manual image adjustments during Data Merge updates. By purchasing or using LuminaX, you agree to these Terms.

2. License

Upon purchase, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LuminaX on your personal or business computers. This license permits:

• Installation on up to 2 devices owned or operated by the licensee
• Use for both personal and commercial design projects
• Use of the purchased version indefinitely (lifetime access)

This license does not permit redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or reverse engineering of the software.

3. Pricing & Payment

LuminaX is sold as a one-time purchase at the price listed on the website at the time of purchase. Early-access pricing (\$39) is a promotional rate and may increase after the official launch.

• Sales tax may apply depending on your jurisdiction

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase. If LuminaX does not work as described or does not meet your needs, contact us within 14 days for a full refund. Refund requests should be sent to hello@luminax.app.

5. Software Updates

Your purchase includes:

• All minor updates and bug fixes for the purchased major version
• Access to community support channels

Major version upgrades (e.g., v1.x → v2.x) may require an additional purchase at a discounted upgrade price.

6. Compatibility

LuminaX is designed for use with Adobe InDesign CC 2020 and newer on macOS and Windows. We make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee functionality with future InDesign versions that introduce breaking changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

LuminaX is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall the developers of LuminaX be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the software.

We strongly recommend maintaining backups of your InDesign documents before using any third-party tools, including LuminaX.

8. Intellectual Property

LuminaX, its logo, documentation, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of the LuminaX team. Adobe, InDesign, and Data Merge are trademarks of Adobe Inc. LuminaX is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe Inc.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
